
Greg Damico, CPA - Managing Member
Greg has over 30 years public accounting and private industry experience in federal, international, property, state/local, cost segregation and government relations. He worked in public accounting for many years before his private industry experience. Greg was the Tax Manager for Thousand Trails, Inc., before taking over as Tax Director & Vice President for Red Lion Hotel’s corporate office in 1988. At Red Lion he was responsible for all federal, state, property and local taxes. In 1996, Greg formed Tax Advisors, PLLC, to provide property, state/local tax and cost segregation consulting services. Tax Advisors acts as an advocate for its clients across the U.S., representing them before county and state boards of appeals. Tax Advisors works with senior living, hospitality, timeshare, apartments and all other commercial/industrial properties. Greg has represented clients before the Washington State Board of Tax Appeals, Oregon Tax Court, County Assessment Appeals Boards in California, Montana State Appeals Board and other county and state judicial bodies. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Oregon Society of CPAs, Institute of Professionals in Taxation, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals, and the International Association of Assessing Officers. Greg is a licensed CPA in Arizona, Colorado, Oregon and Washington.

Portia Howard - Vice President
Portia joined Tax Advisors in 2002 as a Property, State and Local Tax Consultant, was promoted to Tax Manager in 2004 and then to Vice President in 2011. Prior to joining Tax Advisors, she was a Revenue Auditor with the Washington Department of Revenue for over eight years. Her private industry experience includes working as a Field Consultant for the Southland Corporation and as an Accountant/Operations Manager for a local start-up. Portia directs Tax Advisors’ Property Tax Services Group, with a focus on securing real estate tax reductions, performing reverse personal property audits, obtaining tax cancellations and exemptions, and assisting clients with tax compliance. Portia has worked with various governmental agencies throughout the United States to resolve tax issues and has obtained millions in tax savings for Tax Advisors’ clients. She graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a BA in Business, attended the post-baccalaureate accounting program at Portland State University, became a CPA in 1997, and currently maintains a CPA Inactive designation.
Greg LeBlanc - Director of Valuation Advisory Services
Greg LeBlanc joined Tax Advisors in May 2019 as a Valuation Director. Prior to Tax Advisors Greg was a Senior Appraiser at Integra Realty Resources and BBG, two well respected national appraisal firms. As a certified fee-based appraiser Greg specialized in multifamily, hospitality, urban mixed-use and land. His work over the last decade has focused on institutional quality assets and urban developments. In addition to traditional appraisal work
Greg also consulted with public and private clients on feasibility studies and residual land analysis, including the use of vertical housing tax credits and a range of municipal grants. At Tax Advisors Greg now heads the valuation team on property tax appeal matters, property tax projections and asset value allocations for real estate purchases. Mr. LeBlanc holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Real Estate Graduate Certificate from Portland State University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Maine (Go Black Bears!).

Dan Polityka - Valuation Manager
Dan has been with Tax Advisors since February 2021 and is a licensed appraiser in Utah and Idaho. Dan has commercial valuation experience with the Salt Lake County Assessor’s Office with a variety of commercial real estate types. He has completed IAAO courses 102 & 112 focusing on the income approach to valuation along with several Appraisal Institute commercial courses on the sales comparison approach, cost approach, market analysis and highest and best use. Dan prepares real estate property valuation analyses, including market research. His prior experience as a county representative at board hearings is a valuable asset as he now represents our clients. Dan earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Utah.

Costel David - Senior Valuation Analyst
Costel joined Tax Advisors in April of 2021 as a Valuation Analyst and was promoted to Senior Valuation Analyst in 2023. He has acquired valuation skills as a business student at Western Washington University, and also as a Valuation Research Analyst at Bellingham Angel Investors. Costel has also taken Real Estate Appraisal courses and is actively expanding his knowledge of commercial real estate valuation. Costel earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees at Western Washington University. During college Costel was an active member of the Western Washington University Track and Field team as a Javelin thrower, placing 2nd at the GNAC Conference Championships.

Ally Robbin - Valuation Analyst
Ally joined our team as a Valuation Analyst in December 2022 with a desire to change her career path and apply her analytical knowledge and skills. Ally received a bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University in Family and Child Life with a specialization in Family Sciences then graduated from Central Washington University with a Master’s in Family and Child Life. Prior to working at Tax Advisors, Ally has worked at multiple different nonprofit organizations working with children and families in need.

Beau Walsh - Valuation Analyst
Beau was hired by Tax Advisors in October of 2023 as a Valuation Analyst and previously worked as a Financial Analyst in the insurance industry. He has a history of community service which includes prior enlistment in the Washington State Army National Guard and experience in Veterans Affairs. In May of 2022, he graduated from Washington State University Vancouver with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics. At the age of 18, he wrote a patent related to naval propulsion, and is currently restoring a 1993 Mustang SSP

Cole Dorman - Valuation Analyst
Cole joined Tax Advisors in May 2024 as a Valuation Analyst to advance his career and utilize his analytical skills. He graduated from Warner Pacific University in Spring 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Before joining Tax Advisors, Cole worked as a Customer Service Representative at Home Street Bank. Last winter, he also served as an assistant coach for his cousin’s high school basketball team at Mannahouse Christian Academy in Portland, Oregon.
